Dropshipping, as a method of making money online, isn’t something new. People did it since beginning of times.
You’re asking why?
Well, because it made sense. If you were a marketer and knew a real price of a product, then you knew how to make profit.
For example. If you bought a product for $5 in your town and sold it for $10 in another. You’d made a nice cash, right?
This is the basic logic that drives the dropshipping business.
But hear something crazy.
What if you knew places that sell some product abnormally cheap? What if you could choose which products are of better material, have faster shipping rates or are just so rare that are somewhere worth gold?
With the thing called internet, this is possible.
Information is everything in this world. No, i made a mistake, valuable information is everything in this world. You could just search for best dropshipping sites or best dropshipping products online and get over hundred thousand searches.
You surely did it.
But now, you encountered a problem. A question mark risen above your head.
How to choose which dropshipping site is legit? How to be sure that someone won’t scam you? There are hundreds of “best dropshipping sites” online and they all claim to be the One.
Now think about this.
What if most of the sites, that are on prime places on Google, were sponsored by same particular dropshipping company?
Wouldn’t that mean that lists of best dropshipping sites are not exactly “best dropshippers”?
Maybe the whole concept is based on a pay system, where particular dropshipping companies pay top bloggers to include their firm on the list of best dropshipping products?
Everything is possible, but the truth is one.
I’m currently doing a dropshipping business and in few days I’ll write a detailed post about how I set a website and find best products to sell.
In the meantime, I’ll tell you a secret.
Well, it’s not exactly a secret but it’s worth like one.
I’ll give you a list of dropshippers that I worked with. With first ten dropshipping sites I never had a problem that I couldn’t solve. The rest of them are ones that I’m currently testing, so in another article, you’ll hear my honest thoughts about those.
Now, buckle up ;).
1 – Aliexpress/Alibaba
You heard for this chinese giant. With Amazon as the top market in US, Alibaba plays the same role in China. They are a fast growing company that opens doors of chinese manufacters to the rest of the world. As of 2017, they started to offer their services to international companies.
Aliexpress is basically a global retail marketplace and Alibaba’s subchannel for express wholesale transactions. The wholesale platform targets small and medium sized suppliers and buyers. Minimum order can be as low as 1 unit of a product, and is shipped with express delivery so that’s a pro.
Main con is that shipping can sometimes be long and in dropshipping, it’s not a good brand builder. So, even though you can choose which air-shipping company will deliver it fast, you still need to cover the unexpected expenses.
But hey, that’s the risk of this job.
2 – Doba
It’s the best dropshipping site out there. I only put it on a second place because I mostly use Alibaba, but nonetheless, it is huge. The best thing about them is that they offer more than 2 000 000 products to dropship. Second thing is that they are from United States. This is perfect because people from North America buy more things online than Europeans or Asians.
This also means that shipping costs are minimal, if you sell mainly on US market. They have full automation of inventory updates and order management. I’ve been very professional and tried to find something bad online about them, but my search ended as a failure. ( Maybe I’m not good in doxing?)
They are over fifteen years in business and I guess that’s worth something, right?
3 – DHGate
Another one that is dear to me. On DHgate, I found products that I didn’t saw in Aliexpress or Doma. It surely deserves to be on this list of best dropshipping sites. They have over hundreds of categories and what I find interesting, in comparison to others, is that they sell digital products.
You can find steam and cd keys, antiviruses or other software out there. And this is goodm because you can easily dropship these. With an account on Amazon or eBay, you could resell them for higher price.
4 – Dropship Direct
Flying back to America, I think that you heard for this one. DD have more than hundred thousands products and is one of the leading dropshipping sites in the new world.
What I personally like about them is that they sell some Americana, things unique to USA and its history. You can get good deals on these, and later resell them. I didn’t had any trouble while I was working with them.
They ship within 1-2 business days of dropship order and as they site says “80% of our 100K+ products ship within 3-5 or sooner”.
5 – DropInTheBox
A company that has headquarters in China and USA. It’s been online since 2006. When I firstly used it, I was selling woman clothes. They have low prices and the rewards program. Basically the more you order the more points you get. It’s fun.
I love DIB especially because they protect dropshippers’ privacy and hide their dropshipping business from their direct customers. DropInTheBox will not include publicity materials or invoices within the packages sent to their customers. If the customers encounter any technical difficulties. They need to contact the dropshippers as the vendor of their purchased orders, and then theywill handle the problems based on the requirements of the dropshippers.
6 – Chinabuye
First dropshipper that I used ( back in ’11 while I was selling tshirts and mugs ). I remember that they had something about 1% off the products you sell ( still better than 0 ). It was kind of a coupon that meant a lot to a graduate student :).
CB had fast delivery and support was very fair. They’d refund me if customer didn’t get the products they ordered. It’s definitely a good site for dropshipping products.
7 – Sunrise Wholesale
With over 15 000 branded products and automation, SW are really a great site for dropshipping. I sold OEM candles with them, and business was good. I used paid advertising and dropshipping ( those were the days ;)).
I liked them because product returns and refunds were handled automatically. So, you have no worries about dissatisfied customers. You’d also get a product research and sales reporting tools, something like Google Analytics to track your daily inventory and e-mail Alerts.
All in all, worth the price.
8 – Focalprice
700+suppliers + 800+brands + 50,000 products. A massive platform of good deals. FP reminds me of Chinabuye, at least by its design. They have free API system thats easy to integrate with WordPress or Magento and tons of images without watermarks for dropshippers.
Definitely check their inventory.
9 – Printrove
I’m going out of tracks here, because this one is not a global dropshipper, but, they have good deals on mugs, phone cases and posters. They are on my list because of the single reason – lowest prices. I got an impression that they don’t work with many suppliers, which is good for me. They can concentrate more on my business, and of course, they sell products that are currently bestsellers in all markets.
Try and see if it works for you.
10 – Salehoo
I didn’t used them, but I heard lots of good things about them. Salehoo is kind of a huge directory of wholesale sites. They have 8,000+ companies in their network that give you access to over 1.6 million products. Which is pretty impressive.
